Mabel M. Durst Tessier, 83, of Ranson, WV died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at Shenandoah Center, Charles Town, WV.

She was born Jan. 4, 1929 in Charles Town, WV. She was the daughter of Roy J. Lambert and Dalena (Moyers) Lambert.

Mrs. Tessier worked for Child Welfare Services State of Arizona. Prior, she was a Civilian Worker for the Department of Army and Office Manager for C.J. McDonald Lumber Company.

She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church, Antique Auto Club of America and the Sunshinettes.

She is survived by her husband, Marcel R. “Frenchie” Tessier, at home; sons, Martin E. Durst and wife Debi of Kearneysville, WV, Michael H. Durst and wife Pamela of Kearneysville, WV, daughter, Pamela M. Kobilis and husband Bob of LaPlata, MD; grandchildren-5 and great-grandchildren-12

She was preceded in death by her parents

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at Seventh Day Adventist Church, 7869 Summit Point Road, Charles Town, WV with Pastor Jason Disch officiating.

Interment will be in Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town, WV.
