Jeanette Bracciale, 90, of Sykesville, Md., and formerly of Charles Town, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster, Md.

Born April 11, 1922, in Steubenville, Ohio, she was the daughter of Frank Prolago and Mary Nell (Romano) Prolago.

Mrs. Bracciale worked for the Charles Town Race Track and the former Shenandoah Downs Race Track in the Mutuels Department.

She was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by son, Vincent "Jim Bo" Bracciale and wife, Terri Lawson Bracciale, of Sykesville; daughters, Mary Weary and husband, Bill, of York, Pa., Donna Brown and husband, William, of Morgantown, and Tina Bracciale Carreno and husband, Rolando, of Miami, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-granchildren; four sisters, Isabelle Bengier, Helen Sciarretti, Anna Stirpe and Mary Reeves; and brother, Robert Prolago.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Anthony Bracciale Sr., who died Dec. 7, 1973; two sisters, Virginia Smogonvich and Madalyn Frascketti; and five brothers, Paul Prolago, Frank Prolago Jr., Louis Prolago, William Prolago and Raymond Prolago.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2012, at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town, with Deacon David Galvin officiating. Interment will be at Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
